After breakfast, we will depart for a full-day tour of the Blue Mountains (weather permitting). Leaving the city behind, you’ll see quaint mountain villages on your scenic drive from Sydney. Discover the beautiful wilderness on Sydney’s doorstep on a day trip to the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains. Enjoy spectacular views over the Megalong Valley from Echo Point and see the Three Sisters rock formations at Katoomba. At the Blue Mountains National Park, your first stop is Scenic World, where you can ride the world’s steepest railways or take the gondola for aerial views of the valley below (if the option is selected). While taking in the views, enjoy a commentary on the Aboriginal legends behind these famous rocky pinnacles. Experience all the Blue Mountains has to offer, including the Three Sisters, Aboriginal Dreamtime legends, and a boardwalk stroll through the rainforest. We will ride the Scenic Railway, Scenic Skyway and Scenic Cableway. Later, proceed to Sydney Zoo, experience the best of Australia’s wildlife right in the heart of Sydney! Discover some of the most endangered creatures in the world including Tasmanian Devils, a friendly Goodfellow Tree Kangaroo, and adorable Bilbies.
