This morning after breakfast proceed for a Guided City Tour of Shanghai. The tour includes massive Jade Buddha Temple.
Jade Buddha Temple: This Temple is not famed for its architecture, which is very new and built in a standard Song Dynasty style, but the two Buddha’s housed within. Both are made of white jade in Burma and depict Shakyamuni Buddha (the historical Buddha). The more impressive of the two is the seated Buddha, 2 meters (6 feet 5 inches) tall, weighing 205 kg (452 lb) and decorated with Semi-precious stones. The other statue is a serene and beautiful Reclining Buddha about 1 meter (3 feet 4 inches) long. Next visit the famous Shanghai Museum. After this tour yon will be astonished to see the massive Oriental Pearl Tower. Have Indian dinner on your way back to Hotel. Stay overnight in Shanghai.

Enjoy your breakfast at Hotel. Check out and visit Zhujiajiao Watertown – Zhujiajiao is a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, The village prospered through clothing and rice businesses. Today, old historical buildings such as rice shops, banks, spice stores and even a Qing dynasty post office can still be found. After this tour, proceed to the train station to board the exciting train journey by bullet train from Shanghai to Xi’an.
Arrive Xian -one of China’s Four Great Ancient Capitals, having held the position under several of the most important dynasties in Chinese history. On arrival transfer for dinner. Check in and overnight at Xian.

After breakfast and then we’ll be visiting outside area of the famous Wild Goose Pagoda and bell and drum tower. After lunch we will visit the ancient city wall. Xian city wall was erected in the 14th century Ming Dynasty, under the regime of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang. The current city wall is an enhancement of the old Tang Dynasty structure, as a result of the emperor’s wall building campaign. The first city wall of Xi’an was built of earth, rammed layer upon layer. The base layer was made of earth, quick lime, and glutinous rice extract, tamped together. It made the wall extremely strong and firm. Later, the wall was totally enclosed with bricks. A moat, wide and deep, ran around the city. Over the moat, there used to be a huge drawbridge, which would cut off the way in and out of the city, once lifted. Xi’an’s city wall, after its enlargement in the Ming Dynasty, stands 12 meters high. It is 12-14 meters across the top, 15-18 meters thick at bottom, and 13.7 kilometers in length. After the full day tour you will be taken to Indian restaurant for dinner followed by transfer to hotel for overnight stay in Xi’an.

Today after breakfast we will visit one of the ancient Wonders of the World – The Terracotta Warriors. The Terracotta Warriors represent only a small portion of the eight Thousand strong underground armies buried in the craftsmanship attested by each of the statues, as stupendous as the scale of the project. You will see more than 5000 molded soldiers etc of the famed army. Have your lunch in due course. After the tour will be transferred to Xian railway station to board the bullet train for the capital city “Beijing”. A Lifetime Experience aboard the “Bullet Train” which is the fastest in the World and much faster & more modern than Japan’s bullet train. We arrive in the capital of China Republic – Beijing. Arrive in Beijing, meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Beijing.

After breakfast we will visit the Tiananmen Square: the largest Square in the world where the biggest student revolution occurred in recent past. Next we will visit one of the major attractions in China – the awesome The Forbidden City situated in the very heart of Beijing, The construction of the grand palace started in the fourth year of Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty (1406), and ended in 1420. In ancient times, the emperor claimed to be the son of Heaven, and therefore Heaven’s supreme power was bestowed upon him. The emperors’ residence on earth was built as a replica of the Purple Palace where God was thought to live in Heaven. Such a divine place was certainly forbidden to ordinary people and that is why the Forbidden City is so named.
In 1961 the Forbidden City was listed as one of the important historical monuments under the special preservation by the Chinese central government and, in 1987, it was nominated as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
After lunch we will take you to the Dr Tea and Yashow market to bargain and buy Chinese souvenirs. In the evening enjoy world class show- THE GOLDEN MASK DYNASTY SHOW -This unique and legendary show in China, has evolved for more than 10 years to become the acclaimed show it is today. Together with highly skillful acrobatic feats, dance, music and modern stage effects, the show is a thrilling experience that cannot be missed. Get ready for a magical journey deep into the ancient and most golden dynasty in Chinese history. You will be taken to Indian restaurant for dinner followed by transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
