Our experienced and pleasant Tour Director, who will be with you throughout from 25th March, will meet & greet you at Netaji Subhash Bose International Airport 3 hours before the journey. She / He will assist you with a flight scheduled to leave for Delhi, and after an overnight stay, will fly with you to Helsinki.

Reach Rovaniemi, then transfer to Kiruna. On arrival, we continue with our visit to the famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi. The story of Ice hotel starts in 1989, when it became the world’s first and largest hotel made of ice and snow in the Swedish village of Jukkasjärvi – 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. It’s also Sweden’s most unique and probably most extensive private art hall. Icehotel is all about ice and creativity – with art as the result. That’s why the artists invited to take part are not required to have worked with ice before -they’re selected from among those who send in their ideas based on originality, and creating it in real natural ice would pose a new challenge. Each year, some 40 artists take part in Icehotel.

The notion that several weeks’ hard work and months of planning and preparation culminate in something that only exists for a few months is, in some respects, a bittersweet feeling. Kiruna, too, has been serving as a prime destination for Aurora Hunting. The clear sky with pristine Taiga Boreal Forests around adds a mystical touch to this place. Post Ice hotel visit, treat your hunger with a hot dinner and spend the night in your hotel under the magical Aurora flashing in the sky. In the morning, after a relaxed breakfast, we’ll check out and head along a mesmerizing route to reach Tromso. The National Scenic Route runs through some of the country’s most dramatic landscapes and virgin beauties, which are exceptionally beautiful beyond one’s imagination. Time permitting, we might take a photo stop break at the Abisko National Park and click some unforgettable pics together. Later in the evening, we will reach Tromso. Post dinner, we shall check into the designated hotel. In this modern city in the Arctic, nature and culture go hand in hand. Tromso has many activities on offer, from an aquarium to several quality museums. The city is also a popular place to observe the majestic phenomenon of the northern light. Tromso is located 350 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle and is the largest city in Northern Norway. From October-end to March, many people come to Tromso to see the northern lights. Today, after a relaxed breakfast, we proceed for a self-orientation of Tromso with places to be photographed, namely the Market Place, the Cathedral, the Storgata, etc. First, we shall visit the world of Sami Culture and learn how they dwelt in adverse conditions, fought with the bitter cold, and the tools and weapons used to tame the Arctic animals, etc.

Later, we visit the Polaria museum. It is the world’s most northerly aquarium. It is located in Tromsø, in northern Norway. Here you will be able to observe seals, catfish, tiny sharks, and much more up close. You will also get to see and possibly also touch some of the different species that move across the ocean floor. Here you’ll find fish, shellfish, and plants from the sea around Tromsø and Svalbard. A visit to Polaria gives you a unique opportunity to study life under the sea in the Arctic up close. Spot the wolffish hiding in the seaweed and see the halibut splashing on the surface, etc.

Finally, we take up the Cable Car ride, which runs from Solliveien in Tromsdalen up to the mountain ledge Storsteinen (421 meters above sea level) in just four minutes. The two gondolas, known as Seal and Polar bear, each have a capacity of 28 passengers. From the viewing platform at the upper station, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding islands, mountains, and fjords. Later, enjoy a delectable dinner and then spend the night in the comfort of the hotel.

Alta, too, has earned popularity of being one of the most promising sites for Aurora hunting. If lucky, we could spot Aurora in the night. Post dinner, warm yourself with thermal heaters as you sleep soundly in the lap of Lapland. Overnight in Alta. Today, after breakfast, we set out for a long drive to the northernmost part of Finland, which is known as the Finnish Lapland. Lapland has earned the reputation of being one of the best Aurora spotting grounds in the world. With the presence of igloos at Saariselka/Levi/Kittila, one gets the heavenly experience to witness the dancing Aurora in the sky through the glass domes while cozily lying in the bed inside the igloo, thermally heated. On arrivalat the igloo resort, we take dinner and spend the time in leisure. Today, post breakfast, we drive to Rovaniemi, and now we set out for our journey to Ranua Zoo. It is the home of Polar Beer, Arctic foxes, and many other Arctic species, etc., to be seen in their natural habitat. Be mesmerized to see certain species that we never knew existed in the Arctic.

Later, we proceed to spend a wonderful time at the Santa Claus Village. In Rovaniemi, the child in every individual springs back as you start humming the ” Jingle Bells” song spontaneously when you enter the Santa Claus Village. Here, you will feel how your childhood dreams and fancies have suddenly turned into reality when you visit Santa Claus, the person physically at his office.

In this village, you get ample options on your own to explore, like snowmobiling, husky sledge ride, reindeer sledge ride, etc. You may post a letter for your loved ones residing anywhere in the world directly from the post office of Santa.

The Arctic Circle of 66 ½ degrees North, just in the vicinity of the Santa Claus Village, is yet another major photographic landmark. Later, post dinner, proceed to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. If the Lady Aurora is in your favour, she might show up in the sky with all her brilliance !!!
