After breakfast, we check out of the Hotel and visit Te Puia, New Zealand’s living Maori cultural centre, located just 5 minutes from central Rotorua. Breakfast and checkout from Lake Tekapo, transfer to Queenstown via Mt. Cook & Lake Pukaki. Traverse the brilliant blue Ohau canal and hug the shores of magnificent Lake Pukaki as you travel up the spectacular valley to a rugged land of ice and rock, home to New Zealand’s highest mountain, Aoraki Mount Cook. Return along the shores of beautiful Lake Pukaki to rejoin the main highway. Here we board our enchanting cruise (weather permitting) and enjoy the fjordland scenery of cascading waterfalls and lush green rain forest, clinging to the mountains. The majestic presence of the magnificent Mitre Peak will leave you spellbound. With luck, you can see dolphins and penguins. Later, we drive back to Queenstown.
