After breakfast, we depart on a full-day tour to Tangkuban Perahu, an active volcano, situated 30 km north of the city of Bandung in the direction of Lembang. It is the only crater in Indonesia that you can drive up to its very rim. Mount Tangkuban Perahu has a distinctive shape and looks like an “overturned boat”. The huge crater is an astonishing view, and you can walk around and explore it. Here you will be greeted by sulfur fumes, which the crater continues to emit although the volcano is not active. Later, we continue our journey to the nearby Ciater’s Revitalizing Hot Springs. The town of Ciater is known for its natural hot springs with their healing qualities, which promote physical well-being.

Take a bath in a natural hot spring, with water coming from nearby streams and heated up by the volcano. Lunch. After lunch, visit the most popular Tea Plantation in Jakarta. Dinner and transfer to the hotel in Jakarta for check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Jakarta.

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Sultan Palace Keraton. The palace of Yogyakarta, known as the Keraton (also spelled kraton or karaton), is a grand complex that was meticulously planned to reflect the Javanese cosmos. This splendid example of traditional Javanese architecture has no equal. Designed and built in stages, the Keraton was completed in 1790.

Our next destination this morning is a tour of Prambanan, the largest Hindu temple in Southeast Asia. The beautiful and graceful temple of Prambanan is a magnificent spectacle and an icon of Indonesia’s cultural heritage. Located not far from the Buddhist Borobudur temple, the proximity of the two temples tells us that on Java, Buddhism and Hinduism lived peacefully next to one another. The temples at Prambanan were built in the 9th century. The biggest temple is dedicated to Shiva – the destroyer, and the two smaller ones, which sit on its right and left, are dedicated to Brahma -the creator and Vishnu – the sustainer. The tallest temple of Prambanan is a staggering 47 meters high. Its peak is visible from far away and rises high above the ruins of the other temples. As a unique cultural and architectural marvel, Prambanan was declared a World Heritage site in 1991 by UNESCO.

Post lunch, we visit the magnificent Borobudur temple – the world’s biggest Buddhist monument, an ancient site widely considered to be one of the world’s seven wonders. Built in the 9th century during the reign of the Sailendra dynasty, the temple’s design in Gupta architecture reflects India’s influence on the region, yet there are enough indigenous scenes and elements incorporated to make
Borobudur uniquely Indonesian. This awe-inspiring monument is truly a marvel and Indonesia’s most visited tourist attraction. Located on the island of Java, the temple sits majestically on a hilltop, covering an enormous area, measuring 123 x 123 meters. The monument is a marvel of design, decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. The architecture and stonework of this temple have no equal, built without using any kind of cement or mortar! The structure is like a set of massive interlocking Lego blocks held together without any glue. Dinner at a local restaurant. Return to the hotel for the night’s stay in Yogyakarta.

Proceed for lunch, continue to visit: Pandawa Beach, the famous beach in the south area where you can find the statues of Pandawa Lima under the cliff, Melasti Beach (Often considered one of the prettiest beaches in South Bali), Uluwatu, a temple on the cliff, Kecak Dance, then Dinner at an Indian Restaurant. Return to the hotel for night’s stay.
