NAIROBI – GREAT RIFT VALLEY: ELEMENTAITA en route BOATING IN LAKE NAIVASHA AMIDST THE HIPPOS

After a lovely breakfast you sill descend about 3500 ft into the floor of the Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Lake Elementaita. After lunch we depart to Lake Naivasha for Boating amidst the Hippos…a Life Time Experience of Passion base Travel. You will find birds with a lot of species…an ideal surrounding to take the photographs. Lake Naivasha which is the magnificent lake in the Great Rift Valley and it’s also a home to 400 species of birds. We have to arrive on time to avail to explore a memorable sail by boat amidst the Hippos. Experience the hundreds of species of birds…the boatmen will narrate & guide you. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. The lake is almost 13kms across, but its waters are shallow with an average depth of five metres. Lake area varies greatly according to rainfall, with an average range between 114 and 991 sq km. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the Lakes large hippo population sleep the day out in the shallows. The boat ride will be completed after an hour which will be followed by transfer back to Elementiata. Enjoy Dinner and overnight stay within the African Nature.

EXPLORE NAKURU[DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY OF BIRDS MIGRATION PROCESS]

After a hearty breakfast you will depart for an awe-inspiring place of Kenya…Unwind Nakuru , Nakuru is home to Lake Nakuru, one of the Rift Valley soda lakes, which forms part of the Lake Nakuru National Park. The park has large numbers of flamingoes that can be seen foraging in the shallow lake. We can enjoy a game drive in Nakuru. The park also has many wild animals that can be seen during a safari. The lake varies in size from five to 30 square kilometres depending on rainfall – and is rich in birdlife; there are 400 resident species on the lake and in the surrounding national park. Thousands of little grebes and white-winged black terns are frequently seen, as are black-winged stilts, pelicans, cormorants, avocets, ducks and – in the European winter – many migrant waders. In recent years Nakuru has attracted fame for the high number of leopard sightings, and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe . Dinner and overnight in stay at Elementaita.

LAKE ELMENTEITA – MASAI MARA

Breakfast and depart for Masai Mara National Reserve. Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. En route stopover at Narok Town for a break. After lunch proceed to Masai Mara camp. Up on arrival; check in to the designated Deluxe Camp with all modern facilities. We will take our evening Game Drive at around 4 pm. This region is the Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Visit the local Maasai village . Come back to your place by the evening, very close to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Take rest in your room or explore the huge resort with its flora & fauna till you will have your dinner before 9 pm. Go to bed for a memorable stay in at the animal kingdom of Africa – Masai Mara.

IN MASAI MARA

A relaxed rise followed by a hearty breakfast and thereafter a full day game drive with picnic lunch to see the varied game of the Masai Mara. We will roam till the border of Tanzania along with the Mara River and Hippo Pool. The plains are full of wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, thomson’s gazelle. Also regularly seen are leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as they are very large Nile crocodile lies to wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures during the Migration time. Chance to experience the Great Wildebeest Migration is one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World”. No Where in the world, is there a movement of animals as immense as the wildebeest migration, over two million animals migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to the greener pastures of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya during July through to October, normally. The migration has to cross the Mara River in the Maasai Mara where crocodiles will prey on them. This is one of the highlights as the animals try and cross the Mara River alive. In the Maasai Mara they will be hunted, stalked, and run down by the larger carnivores. The Maasai Mara also has one of the largest densities of lion in the world. After an exciting full day safari, we come back to our rooms to freshen up. You can experience the traditional Masai dance in the lodge itself, if you are lucky. Enjoy the evening by roaming around the resort or pass your time mixing with the other tourists from various countries. Enjoy the dinner at the resort.

MASAI MARA – SERENGETI

Early rise followed by breakfast. Check out and depart for the Isebania Border Point with picnic lunch boxes. Enjoy a game drive of the reserve en route. Upon arrival at the Kenya-Tanzania Border Point you will meet your Tanzania driver guides. We will clear with customs and immigrations. After immigration we will drive to the Serengeti National Park where you will enjoy a game viewing. The park is known for its large lion population and is one of the best places to observe prides in their natural environment. The park also has a large diversity of large mammals and birds due to the diverse habitats, including riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, grasslands and woodlands. It has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. After game drive you will proceed to the camp. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti

IN SERENGETI

After breakfast ,spend the full day in the Serengeti National Park with either morning and afternoon game drives with hot lunch at the camp OR a full day game drive with picnic lunch that will be served at a designated spot within the park. The park has a large diversity of large mammals and birds due to the diverse habitats, including riverine forests, swamps, kopjes, grasslands and woodlands. It has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. Here all three big cats are easily seen; known for its large lion population it is one of the best places to observe prides in their natural environment. Cheetahs are very common on the south-eastern plains, while leopards can typically be found lazing in one of the big trees along the Seronera River. Other common animals like the long-neck giraffes, many other ungulates (hooved animals) such as the eland, zebra, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle are residents at any time of the year. In the riverine forests you will spot for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti.

SERENGETI – NGORONGORO

Breakfast at the Lodge. You will then depart for your full day tour with picnic lunch boxes of the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest crater. The crater is about 3 million years old and is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. The ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth. Endangered black rhinos are protected within its rim, giant-tusked elephants wander the forests, male lions stalk the grasslands and flamingos crowd the soda lakes. Game was trapped here during the formation of the Great Rift Valley and has evolved itself for centuries. In the evening drive back to your lodge in Karatu. ARUSHA – AMBOSELI VIA NAMANGA BORDER

Breakfast and depart with packed lunch for Amboseli crossing into Kenya Via Namanga boarder . Arrive at the Amboseli park and embark on a game drive en-route to the lodge to arrive in the evening. Amboseli is a paradise of Elephants, a wonderful park with a big swamp fed by the underwater aquifers of the Kilimanjaro. The best time to view the majestic Snow Capped Kilimanjaro is at dawn and sunset, when the clouds lift and the lights are both clear and soft. The park is one of the smaller game parks in Kenya, but it offers you the best opportunity of seeing the black rhino, along with a spectacular range of wildlife. The area’s low and wellmunched vegetation also ensures that animals are easy to spot. Have Dinner and stay the night at Amboseli only
