KOLKATA- SIEM REAP

Your luggage will need to be tagged directly to Siem Reap from Kolkata itself. ARRIVE SIEM REAP Welcome to SIEM REAP, the treasures of the Kingdom of Cambodia.Upon arrival, we will be picked up and transfer to visit Chong Kneas Floating Villages, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Here we will see plenty of examples of the Khmer way of life on the Tonle Sap. After that, transfer to a restaurant for lunch. This afternoon, visit Wat Thmei (Killing Field) contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. Some of the bones were recovered from a nearby well while others are the remains of soldiers who died on a nearby battlefield. Continue to visit the “Les Artisansd’Angkor – Chantiers Ecole” the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts. Dinner and overnight in Siem Reap.

SIEM REAP – ANGKOR TOUR – HANOI BY AIR
After having breakfast at hotel this morning, we explore South Gate of Angkor Thom, known as Big Angkor, a 3km2 walled and moated royal city which was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, the famous Bayon Temple was an architectural muddle, in part because it was constructed in a somewhat piecemeal fashion for over a century. Terrace of the Elephants is an impressive, two and a half meter tall, 300 meter long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants that spans the heart of Angkor Thom. Terrace of the Leper King is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants, a double terrace wall deeply carved with mythological figures. Finally, visit Ta Prohm Temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty!

This afternoon we will visit Angkor Wat Temple, the Cambodia’s ancient temple is one of the wonders of the oriental World. It is a replica of the universe according to the Hindu mythology. It is composed by the Mount Meru, surrounded by the continents and the oceans. Its extraordinary bas-reliefs, describe some Khmer epics and myths. After trip, transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, greeted by the local tour guide and transfer to downtown and check in your hotel.

OVERNIGHT HALONG BAY CRUISE
After breakfast and check out and depart for Halong Bay, a World Heritage as designated by Unesco in 1994 with nearly 3,000 rocky islets. The drive may take you more than three to four hours utmost depending on the high or low seasons’ traffic, and will pass the Red River Delta, one of the two granaries of Vietnam. Upon arrival in Halong, we will sail our boat round its natural rocky gardens whilst a tasty seafood lunch (local food) is waiting on board. Most of the islets here are not for living due to the lack of fresh water, but are excellent for cruising to contemplate their miraculous draws on the horizon. We can wander to visit a grotto or just lazily relax on the sundeck. Evening attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure. Overnight on the cruise.

HALONG BAY – HANOI – CITY TOUR
Enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a pointoriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Check out your room and have brunch on board while the cruise coming back the pier. Disembark from the cruise, transfer back to Hanoi. Afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Start our visit at the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university ofVietnam. Later, we have an overall view of the capital by a leisure walk, which wanders around the Old Quarter of Hanoi and the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). From here wandering on the narrow streets of the Old Quarter to experience the daily life of the local people & shopping at Dong Xuan market. Overnight in Hanoi.

HANOI – FLIGHT TO DA NANG – HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN
Breakfast at hotel and check out to head to airport for flight to Danang. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer directly to restaurant for lunch. After lunch, transfer to Hoian Ancient Town. You take interesting walk over the tile roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls, enjoy the attractiveness of ancient houses or listen to folk music of Central Vietnam at old club-houses. Later we can stop at shrines or stroll into the market located by Thu Bon river, where you may find the same feelings of the artists, who see the rooftops of Hoian a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. This is also a wonderful town to shop for lanterns, soft silk, raw silk, or get your clothes tailored within a day. Transfer back to Danang. Overnight in Da Nang.

DANANG – BANA HILLS & GOLDEN BRIDGE
After breakfast, we transfer to Ba Na hills and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, Linh Ung pagoda, The Old Villas of French. Enjoy games at Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games. Go down by cable car and visit the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Golden Bridge, held up by two enormous stone-colored hands. The bridge opened in June 2018, is 150 meters long and 1,400 meters above sea level, with views across the green mountainscape. Continue visit Nginh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Go downhill also by cable car then transfer to visit My Khe Beach before we return to the hotel. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Stay overnight in Danang.

DA NANG – FLY TO SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS
Packed breakfast check out and transferring to airport for flight to Saigon visit to Cu Chi tunnels. Located 60km from Saigon, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. After a short introduction video showing how the tunnels were constructed, you will have a chance to crawl into a short section of the tunnels to feel the oppressive narrowness and heat inside. Transfer back Saigon to check in hotel . Dinner and overnight in Saigon.

SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA – SAIGON
Have breakfast at hotel. Proceed to My Tho, the homeland of coconut and family factories with local products like coconut candy, rice paper, Upon arrival, embark on the boat cruising on the mighty Mekong River viewing the life to the local people live along the banks. We stop to visit an island in the area, enjoy the fresh tropical fruits served in the heart of the lush garden accompanied by traditional southernVietnamese folk music. Later, embark on other small boats rowed by the local people thru the small canals shadowed by water coconut trees to visit the local factories. There you will taste the honey tea and see the local people produce the coconut candy milk and of course you also can try it or stroll in the garden where the locals feed honeybee. In the afternoon, continue to visit Vinh Trang pagoda, a famous pagoda in the area with architecture combination of Chinese, Cambodian, and French cultures. Return to Saigon, we visit the central Ben Thanah Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every taste. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Stay overnight in Saigon.

SAIGON – CITY TOUR – DEPARTURE
Breakfast at hotel and check out,Today, he city tour will begin with a visit to the Reunification Palace, the witness of the fierce Vietnam War ended in 1975.The grand building today is a Museum and Hall of official receptions. Nearby the Palace are the Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883 and colonial-styled Central Post Office, one of the city’s major landmarks. Then visit Ben Thanh market, a symbol of Saigon. After lunch time, transfer to the airport for the airport for the departure flight back to your sweet home.
