ARRIVE IN MILAN – THE FASHION CAPITAL OF ITALY

Then we proceed to see the San Siro Stadium known as the AC Milan stadium which will blow away the minds of the football worshippers. (** entry depends on the schedule of the match during that season). Later drop off at the hotel .Time for some relaxation and shedding off the jet lag. Later dinner and comfortable overnight stay in the hotel.

DAY VISIT TO LAKE COMO AND GUIDED MILAN TOUR

After breakfast , we proceed to see the mesmerizing Lake Como region. This place falls exactly between Swiss and Italy. The unparallel beauty of Lake Como region – Bellagio being the major town here has grabbed the attention of globe trotters across the world so much so that Indian celebrities like Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had chosen this place to be their perfect wedding destination. Next we drive back to Milan where we enjoy a guided city tour of Milan with photostop at the major places of interest namely the Duomo, Santa Maria Del Grazie, La Scala etc. Evening some own free time. In the night we take a delicious dinner and spend the night in the hotel.

 MILAN – LUGANO – TASCH

Post breakfast today we check out and at first proceed to Lugano. At Lugano make a visit to the Swiss Miniature park. Be enthralled to see this lovely park where the entire Switzerland lies before you in a miniature form. Also enjoy your lunch in the meanwhile en route while proceeding towards Tasch. At Tasch – the gateway to Zermatt we call the day off for a comfortable night stay with dinner.

ZERMATT – MT MATTERHORN –ZERMATT

Today after breakfast riding the Swiss Railway we proceed to Zermatt –
which is the gateway to the Matterhorn mountain. Known internationally
by its German name the Matterhorn, it owes its fame to its almost perfect
pyramid shape. Its four-sided, ridged rocky peak towers 4,478 metres
above sea level, in perfect isolation in the midst of a quite singular alpine
panorama. One has to reach upto the Matterhorn by a Cable Car from the
Trockener Steg. At Matterhorn further ascend upto the Glacier Paradise –
the world of eternal snow offering spectacular views of the Alps allover.
Post the excursion feed yourself with a satiating lunch.
Next we return to Tasch again boarding the Swiss Rail and spend the night
at leisure after finishing the dinner.

TASCH – CHAMONIX – MONT BLANC EXCURSION

After a sumptuous breakfast we check out to drive to Chamonix, falling in the French border. While travelling by coach be mesmerized to see the beauty of nature all snow clad. We arrive at the foothills of the majestic Mont Blanc. Cable Car Chamonix – PLAN DE L’AIGUILLE [Round trip] awaits you. The Aiguille du Midi cable car leaves from the centre of Chamonix Town (1035m) up to the summit of the Aiguile du Midi (3842m). From the terraces of the Aiguille du Midi, there is a departure point for the Panoramic Mont Blanc cable car, the highest cable car in the world, which connects France to Italy. The 5km journey goes across the Mont Blanc Massif, from the Aiguille du Midi to Point Helbronner. From Point Helbronner, the Funivie cable car line descends into the La Palud area of Courmayeur, Italy. Rebuilt and reopened in 2015, the Italian top station is a nice place to visit, with a sunny terrace with 360 degree views of the Mont Blanc massif, and a different perspective of the mountains. Later we spend a lovely evening in the lap of this snowy abode. Overnight stay with dinner.

CHAMONIX – GENEVA – VEVEY – MONTREUX

Today start the morning with a fulfilling breakfast and check out. We gradually steer towards Geneva – The UN Headquarters. Here, at Geneva, be astonished to see the various major landmarks namely the Floral Clock , the Jet d’Eau..the world famous Water Jet Fountain is a definite piece of photography. The Broken Chair in Geneva symbolizes the despair and dignity of armed violence victims. Geneva is very correctly termed as the Peace Capital of the world for housing the Headquarters of all the major UN Agencies namely the ILO, WHO, Red Cross etc. Gradually we move towards to see the wonderful world of the legend Charlie Chaplin at his own abode now converted to an amazing museum. Next we proceed to one of the most scenic town of Swiss located just on the shores of Lake Geneva – the Montreux. Spend some free time at the charming promenade of Montreux and then we proceed to the hotel for an overnight stay with dinner.

MONTREUX – GSTAAD – ZURICH/ENGELBERG

Post the breakfast we check out and first visit the Chillon Castle. The Chillon Castle (“Château de Chillon” in French) is a well-preserved 12th-century castle on the shores of Lake Geneva in South-Western Switzerland. It’s open to visitors and can be reached in just 10 minutes from Montreux. Visitors can view four great halls, three courtyards, and a series of bedrooms including the Camera domini, which was occupied by the Duke of Savoy and is decorated with 14th century murals.
Later we drive to Gstaad. Gstaad 1,050 m above sea level is the beating heart of the region and embodies a unique combination of tradition, comfort and style. The pedestrianised village centre is home to charming restaurants, exclusive shops, top class hotels and trendy bars, which together create a remarkable atmosphere. The surrounding leisure areas are easily accessible via three modern mountain railways – perfect for trying a range of activities. Gstaad is the ideal place to leave the stresses of everyday life behind and experience unforgettable moments in picturesque surroundings. This beautiful spa town has also earned its name majorly after famous films like DDLJ, Bachna Ae Haseeno etc shot here.
Finally we proceed to Zuriuch/ Engelberg for an overnight stay with dinner.

LUCERNE ORIENTATION – MT TITLIS – ENGELBERG

After breakfast start your unforgettable mountain excursion to Mt Titlis. This snow clapped mountain offers a wide range of snow filled activities to be enjoyed namely the Ice Flyer.
Post the mountain excursion, take your lunch and proceed for an Orientation tour of Lucerne where the places of interest namely the Lion Monument constructed to honour the bravehearts of the war, the Chapel Bridge – the oldest wooden bridge of the world etc will grab your attention.
Now, in the evening post dinner, spend a relaxing night in the hotel.

RHINEFALLS – LAKE TITISEE – CUCKOO CLOCK FACTORY – ZURICH

Today after an early breakfast we proceed to see Lake Titisee which is known for its breathtaking beauty. From there the entire Black Forest region looks wide and extended. Just there you can treat yourself with a Black Forest cake (optional) . Lying adjacent is the Cuckoo Clock house .The authentic cuckoo clock will make you impulsive for a purchase which is worth a buy.
Next from there we proceed to the spectacular Rhine Falls and admire the beauty of the thundering water. With a short boat ride in the Rhine Falls, we end the trip with selfies and photo sessions!!
Finally we return to our hotel for an overnight stay with dinner.

RETURN FROM ZURICH

Post the breakfast check out and bid adieu to this beautiful country of Europe as you gradually move towards the airport for your return flight to India.
