At the time of check in, please ensure your luggage is booked till Jakarta. On arrival at Jakarta airport we will be met by our local representative and then transferred to the Restaurant. After lunch we will proceed for city tour Old Batavia – The downtown area of the capital long ago, bearing silent witness to the occupation of the Dutch East India Company, National Monument, President Palace, Miniature Indonesia Park. JAKARTA –TANGKUBAN PERAHU – BANDUNG

After breakfast we depart on a full day tour to Tangkuban Perahu, an active volcano, situated 30 km north of the city of Bandung in the direction of Lembang. It is the only crater in Indonesia that you can drive up to its very rim. Mount TangkubanPerahu has a distinctive shape, and looks like an “overturned boat”. The huge crater is an astonishing view and you can walk around and explore this. Here you will be greeted by sulfur fumes which the crater continues to emit although the volcano is not active. Later we continue our journey to the nearby Ciater’s Revitalizing Hot Springs. The town of Ciater is known for its natural hot springs with their healing qualities which promote physical well being.

JAKARTA – JOGJAKARTA

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Jogjakarta by Train. Arrive at Jogjakarta, proceed for lunch after lunch visit Sultan’s Palace –The palace in the central aspect of the Javanese cosmology by being at the center of the Mt Merapi and Parangtritis Beach lines Taman Sari Water Palace & Garden – This addition to the royal complex was built over 200 years ago by the first Sultan with bathing pools for his harem, Kota Gede – You will be shown the great cultural activities of Batik and the silver craft factories. Dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to hotel for night stay in Jogjakarta.

JOGJAKARTA – CITY TOUR

Breakfast at hotel followed by a visit to Sultan Palace Keraton. The palace of Yogyakarta, known as the Keraton (also spelled kraton or karaton), is a grand complex that was meticulously planned to reflect the Javanese cosmos. This splendid example of traditional Javanese architecture has no equal. Designed and built in stages, the Keraton was completed in 1790. Our next destination this morning is a tour of Prambanan, the largest Hindu temple in Southeast Asia. The beautiful and graceful temple of Prambanan is a magnificent spectacle and an icon of Indonesia’s cultural heritage. Located not far from the Buddhist Borobudur temple, the proximity of the two temples tells us that on Java, Buddhism and Hinduism lived peacefully next to one another. The temples at Prambanan were built in the 9th century. The biggest temple is dedicated to Shiva – the destroyer, and the two smaller ones which sit on its right and left are dedicated to Brahma-the creator and Visnhu-the sustainer.

The tallest temple of Prambanan is a staggering 47 meters high. Its peak is visible from far away and rises high above the ruins of the other temples. As a unique cultural and architectural marvel, Prambanan was declared aWorld Heritage site in 1991 by UNESCO. Post lunch, we visit the magnificent Borobudur temple – the world’s biggest Buddhist monument, an ancient site widely considered to be one of the world’s seven wonders. Built in the 9th century during the reign of the Sailendra dynasty, the temple’s design in Gupta architecture reflects India’s influence on the region, yet there are enough indigenous scenes and elements incorporated to make Borobudur uniquely Indonesian. This awe inspiring monument is truly a marvel and Indonesia’s most visited tourist attraction. Located on the island of Java, the temple sits majestically on a hilltop, covering an enormous area, measuring 123 x 123 meters. The monument is a marvel of design, decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. The architecture and stonework of this temple has no equal, built without using any kind of cement or mortar! The structure is like a set of massive interlocking Lego blocks held together without any glue. This evening enjoy Ramayan Ballet show .Dinner at local restaurant. JOGJAKARTA- BALI CITY TOUR

Breakfast and check out from hotel and transfer to airport for Bali. After arrival at Bali Commence tour of Pura Tanah Lot, including the Royal Temple of Mengwi. Drive along to the Royal Temple of Mengwi – Pura Taman Ayun. Dating from 1634, this picturesque complex surrounded by a moat with multi-roofed meru shrines and intricately carved wooden gates. Lunch at restaurant. Next stop is Tanah Lot, famous in Bali as the Sunset Temple. Experience the sunset beyond the black lava towers of the sacred 16th century temple, built on a lava rock. If time permits, we may also visit the Uluwatu temple. Dinner at local restaurant. Transfer to hotel for night stay in Bali.

BALI – KINTAMANI TOUR

Breakfast at hotel, followed by a full day Kintamani tour. The highlight of this tour is the magnificent view of Mount and Lake Batur with the smoky Agung Volcano in the background. Enroute stops at Batubulan village to see barong dance performance, Celuk the center of gold and silver works, Mas the center of woodcarvings, Ubud the center of Balinese paintings.Lunch at local restaurant. Visit TirtaEmpuland Tegemungan waterfalls. Dinner at local restaurant.Return to hotel for night stay.

FULL DAY AT BALI
