BAKU – CITY TOUR

After breakfast we will proceed for city tour of Baku. Program starts with Old City or Inner City is the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.The Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs’ and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.(walking tour) Lunch at Indian restaurant. Group will experience the happening street of Nizami Street known for shopping. The street’s history could be traced back to Baku’s town planning project of 1864. The street runs through the city’s downtown from west to east. It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on Sabit Orujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai in “Black City”.Total length of the street is 3,538m. Fountains Square is a public square in downtown Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The square was previously called Parapet and is often referenced to by the same name now. The name of the fountains square derives from the presence of dozens of fountains throughout the square first constructed during Soviet rule of Azerbaijan. Tour continues with the visit to the charming example of modern architecture – The Heydar Aliyev Center – a 57,500 m2 building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. BAKU – FLAMES TOUR

Breakfast Checkout from the hotel. Tour starts with Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple) Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. The pentagonal complex , which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. Trip to “Fire Mountain “Yanardag” –a mountain on Absheron peninsula, 25 km from north of Baku. Literally, word “Yanardag” means “Blazing mountain”. Blazing bodies of flame dance on stones and floor. Yanar dag is a natural gas fire which blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, which itself is known as the “land of fire.” Lunch at Indian restaurant. Assembly at hotel lobby in sunset time. Proceed to evening city view tour with car Visit to Highland Park-Alley of Martyrs, The National Assembly- also transliterated as Milli Majlis, Flame towers-the tallest skyscraper in Baku. Walking through Baku Boulevard which stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. It traditionally starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond. Since 2012, the Yeni Bulvar (New Boulevard) has virtually doubled the length to 3.75 km.Dinner and transfer to airport to board the flight for Almaty.

ALMATY – LOCAL TOUR

Proceed on an excursion to the beautiful mountain resort of Shymbulak Ski resort including Gondola tickets to level 3. “Shymbulak Ski Resort” Time at leisure. Time for walking and making amazing photos. After lunch proceed for city tour PANFILOV PARK & ZENKOV CATHEDRAL. Its Almaty’s most popular strolling and picnic places for people of all ages. The Park is named and dedicated to the Panfilov Heroes who were 28 soliders of an Almaty Infantry. Their memories are etched at the fearsome war memorial east of the Zenkov Cathedral which depict soliders from all 15 soviet republics on the map of USSR. The Park is lush green area and it’s a good place to sit, rest, relax and see the bustling sights of the city.
Zenkov Cathedral’, is one of the most beautiful, magnificent and architectural monuments of the city of Almaty with the height of 56 meters and is located in the green Panfilov Park of Almaty. A Zenkov had supervised the construction of this cathedral in the early 19th century and legend goes that it was built without a single nail. But unfortunately, it’s not true. Although the design is remarkably unique but it’s because of the advanced technological expertise of that time. They used the construction concept of Semi ruche which meant using of reinforced concrete, timber preservation and ventilation.(Walking tour)

ALMATY – LOCAL TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to KokTobe hill. KokTobe is the highest point in the city of Almaty standing on a 1100 m hill at the southeast edge of the city. It is worth a visit to KokTobe because of its panoramic view of the city from all directions. To reach the KokTobe hill, one should take a cable car ride which starts near Hotel Kazakhstan and goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and the magnificent fruit growing gardens. Visit Green bazaar + Rakhat chocolate shop. Transfer Visiting Gorky Park (Central Park) Gorky Park is one of the most popular parks in Almaty and a good recreational space for both walking and, entertaining the children. The Park is now known by the name of Central Park and covers and area of 100 Hectares. The location of the park, as it suggests, is in central Almaty and is close to the Green Bazaar and also Panfilov Park. Gorky Park was named after the Russian author Maxim Gorky and the locals sometimes refer to the park as Park Gorkogo. The Park has facilities for all, with Shady walks and shrubs, water features, flower beds and arrangements and in one area, an amusement park for the children with rides on both the fun fair and horse etc. (walking tour).Back to hotel. After arrival transfer to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch proceed for city orientation tour ofTashkent. Tashkent City Tour includes Lal Bahdur Shastri monument, Independence Square, Broadway street with artist and souvenirs, Romanov Prince Duke, Residence, Amir Temur Square, Opera and Ballet theatre named after Alisher Navoi (from outside).Check in hotel. TASHKENT – SAMKARKAND DAY TRIP

Breakfast .Transfer to rail station to board the train for Samarkand by speed train Afrosiyob. Arrival, met and proceed for full day city tour .Visit: Registan Square with three madrassahas (15th -17th cent), Gur Emir Mausoleum (15th cent)-from outside –Ulugbek Observatory – Out side Bibi Hanum Mosque-from outside; Siyab bazaar.Enjoy local Lunch and transfer to rail station for bullet train “Afrosiyob” to Tashkent. Check in and leave Samarkand.

Breakfast Check out from the hotel . Drive to “Chimgan” Mountains 80 kilometers away from Tashkent the “UgamChotqol” National Park with resort areas “Chimyon ChorwoqBeldersoy” is stretches out in the western spurs of the “Tian Shan” – the Celestial Mountains Enjoy View of mountains and life of local people. Reaching the mountains, guests will ride on Chair Lift going up to the top of the mountain (30 minutes). Take the Chair Lift for coming down the mountains. Transfer to the beautiful “Charwak” Lake, which is formed by joining of 4 biggest rivers which is the beautiful lake that’s supplyTashkent city and its region with water all year round. Optional activities (not included) Beautiful “Charwak” Lake: – Water sports, like banana boat,scooter and etc. Drive back to Tashkent Dinner. Later in the evening we proceed to the Airport for return flight to India.
