Welcome to the capital of our country. Upon arrival in Delhi we shall drive to Nainital.

NAINITAL, a Himalayan resort town in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, at an elevation of roughly 2,000meters. Formerly a British hill station, it’s set around Nainital Lake, You will experience some really stunning natural scenarios on your way as you wheel from Delhi to Nainital.

As you will arrive Nainital check in to hotel and relax. Explore the Mall Road and enjoy shopping.

After breakfast we shall then proceed for a day tour of Nainital. We will take our first stop at Nani Lake. You may choose to go for boating on the lake.

NAINI LAKE – It is a beautiful natural fresh body lake. The lake is in crescent or kidney shape and is one of the most famous lakes of the Kumaon region. Bounded by Naini Peak on North West, Tiffin Point on the South West and snow-capped peaks on the north, the Nainital Lake offers a breathtaking view, especially during early morning and sunset.

NAINA PEAK – The highest peak of Nainital, Naina Peak, captivates the mind of every tourist when it’s looked up from a distance. With a height of 2615 meters. Due to its scenic trails and high altitudes, trek to Naina peak is quite famous amongst trekkers.
NAINA DEVI TEMPLE – Naina Devi Temple is a ‘shakti peeth’, located on the northern end of the Naini Lake. This temple is devoted to the Hindu Goddess Naina Devi. Along with the statue of Goddess Naina Devi, idols of Ganesha and Kali are also enshrined in this temple.

In the evening take a stroll around the Mall Road and enjoy shopping.  It serves as the prime location for culture, food and shopping for the visitors coming from different ends of the world especially if you are a momo lover.

After Breakfast proceed to visit Bhimtal, Sattal and Naukuchiatal.

BHIMTAL – Bhimtal is an idyllic and less-crowded version of Nainital, 23 km away. Bhimtal is a scenic hill station, the charm of which lies in its off-beat, tranquil atmosphere. The picturesque Bhimtal Lake is a popular attraction for paddle boating, birding and nature walk. Bounded by a dense forest of oaks, pine and shrubs, it is also known for a few ancient temples.

SATTAL – A group of pristine mountain lakes nestled within a dense oak forest. Lying on the outskirts of Nainital, it makes for a great tourist destination. There are many unexplored spots and trails that can be explored through delightful nature walks. Bird lovers can have a great time here as there are a number of finches here; the air echoing with their calls all day long. Sattal as the name means has seven lakes namely – Nal Damyanti Lake, Panna or Garude lake, Ram, Laxman, Sita lakes, Purna Tal and Sukh Tal.

NAUKUCHIATAL – Naukuchiatal or the nine cornered lake is nestled amidst the Kumaon Himalayas and is considered the deepest one among all the other lakes of Nainital district. Embedded within a charming valley, the lake is set at an elevation of 1220m and is 53 m deep, stretching itself to 983 m.

After breakfast check out and drive to Kasauni via Almora. Situated at the southern edge on the Kashyap hills in the shape of a horse saddle, Almora is a picturesque town set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas. Being surrounded by the dwindling pines and old oaks, the city has a divine aura.

Swami Vivekanand is said to have fallen for Almora and is believed to have spent time meditating on its quiet hills. We shall take a photo stop to experience the beauty of this hill station. You may visit Deer Park and temples while we stop at Almora.

Later we continue to drive to Kasauni. Kausauni – Cradled under the sheath of the crimson sun and the dark green hills, this hill station is known for offering a panoramic view of the massive Himalayan peaks such as Nandaghunti, Trishul and Mrigthuni. 

In the evening enjoy the beautiful sunset at snowcapped mountain.

Early morning, we shall proceed to enjoy the sunrise. Later return to hotel and have breakfast. We shall then visit BAIJNATH – The most important historical place in Uttarakhand which is situated on the banks of the Gomti River. The Baijnath Temple here was built thousands of years ago and can still be admired for its carvings and sculptures. The temple is made up of a cluster of Shiv-Parvati temple.

On the way back visit Tea Garden. A walk around the tea estate amidst this heavenly environment had lead Kausauni to be named ‘Switzerland of India’ by Mahatma Gandhi. Enjoy the Tea Tasting.

After breakfast check out and drive to Ranikhet meaning Queen of Meadows. Legend says that Raja Sudhardev won the heart of his queen, Rani Padmini, who was residing in this area giving it the name, Ranikhet.

Upon arrival check in to hotel and freshen up. We shall proceed to visit –

Jhula Devi Temple – Jhula Devi Temple is dedicated to goddess Durga and is well-known for its cluster of elegantly designed bells.  It is also widely believed that whosoever ties a bell on the temple wall, is granted with his/ her wish in due course of time.
HAIDAKHAN TEMPLE – Dedicated to Lord Shiva this temple was built by Maharaj Haidakhan who was believed to be the incarnation of Lord Shiva. The temple displays a tall statue of Lord Hanuman and Lord Shiva.
MANKAMESHWAR TEMPLE – .This temple is dedicated to three main deities namely Goddess Kalika, Lord Shiva and the pair of Radha-Krishna. Mankameshwar Temple is surrounded by eternal beauty and hence it is one of the most picturesque spots in Ranikhet.

Later we shall visit the Ranikhet Golf Coursewhich is one of the highest golf courses of Asia, located 5 kilometers from main Ranikhet City. Ranikhet Golf Course is a 9-hole course making it one of the prime attractions of Ranikhet.

Later drive to Corbett. The park was named after Jim Corbett the legendary hunter- naturalist turned author & photographer who spend most of the of his life in this area & helped set up this park.

As we arrive we will check into hotel. Later visit GARJIA TEMPLE. This is a Shakti shrine devoted to Devi Garjiya. It is situated on over a large rock in the Kosi river.

Have dinner and comfortable stay overnight at Corbett.

Early morning experience the thrilling Jungle Safari at the Corbett National Park. You may have a chance to see the Royal Bengal Tiger. It houses around 110 tree species, 50 species of mammals, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species.

Later return to hotel and have breakfast and relax. In the afternoon visit Corbett Wildlife Museum and Dhikala which offer an awesome uninterrupted Panoramic view of Valley.

Have sumptuous dinner at the hotel and stay overnight at Corbett.
