(Bomdila – Tawang)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to the Bomdila Monastery, which was built by Tsona Gontse Rinpoche, for a visit to Bomdila, the 12th reincarnate. The monastery, which was founded in 1965, is one of Bomdila’s most well-known attractions. Buddhist monks and lamas reside in the Bomdila monastery. The monastery in Bomdila is said to be an exact replica of Tsona Gontse Monaster.
We depart from Upper Monastery through Dirang and Sela Pass, the world’s second highest motorable pass at 13494 feet. The Sela pass and the Sela lake situated at an altitude of 4170 meters are a gateway to Arunachal and in a way tell you the treasures that lie ahead within the state.

Then we visit Jaswant Garh. Located 21km from Sela Pass, towards Tawang this site is dedicated to the warrior, Jaswant Singh who was killed during the Indo-China War in 1962. The place is open to all to pay tribute to this brave martyr.
After Jaswant Garg we drive to Tawang.
