Early morning visit to Kamakhya Temple – Situated atop the Nilachal Hill in Guwahati, it is one of the 108 Shakti Peethas of the country. Lakhs of devotees visit the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati, Assam, every year to pay their respect and offer their devotion to the Goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest temples.
Return to hotel and enjoy delicious breakfast. After breakfast we shall checkout from the hotel and proceed for the airport for our return flight to Kolkata with unlimited memory of your North East Tour.

After breakfast check out and drive back to Guwahati. Check into the hotel and enjoy shopping. Despite the widely shared notion that Guwahati is just a small city in Assam, its streets and labyrinthine alleyways are lined with innumerable local and branded shops. Along with shopping North-East is also famous for its beauty.
In the evening you may choose to experience the spectacular River cruise on the River Brahmaputra – Bask in the light of the setting sun as the sky changes to beautiful orange and red when the cruise floats in the Brahmaputra river. So, tuck into a beautiful evening with traditional Assamese music. This sunset cruise in Guwahati is specially curated for people who like to witness the amazing sunset.
Alternately you may visit ‘Kalakshetra’ a place where Assamese history and culture is presented through Light and sound show.

Early morning we shall proceed for Elephant ride at 5AM. Here, a wide variety of fauna thrives including the one-horned rhino, Asiatic elephants, wild water buffalo, leopards and Royal Bengal Tigers. Kaziranga National Park is also listed officially as a Tiger reserve and is home to one of the world’s largest population of tigers.
Other notable bird families which can be seen here include the great Indian hornbill and wreathed hornbill among many others.
After the safari we will return back to hotel & enjoy hot breakfast. Relax after lunch at the hotel. Later in the afternoon you may choose to go for Jeep safari in the Central Range. Return back to hotel.

After Breakfast check out from the hotel. Today we will visit the Home of ‘One Horned Rhinos – Kaziranga. A world heritage site, the park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned rhinoceros. Kaziranga also boasts the highest density of tigers among the protected areas in the world Enjoy the pristine scenic beauty of Shillong and the greenery on our journey to Kaziranga.

After breakfast, start local sightseeing in the area, including Elephant Falls, which features dramatic, multi-tiered waterfalls in scenic surroundings, as well as an easy walking track and stairs.
Then we go to Shillong View Point, Laitkor Peak, which is a mountaintop overlook with esplanades and observation towers that offers sweeping views of Shillong City. After that, we go to Lady Hydari Park, Laitumkhrah Cathedral, Ward’s Lake, Golf Course, State Museum, and Bishop Beadon Falls.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel to NOA KALIKAI WATER FALLS, a 1100 foot high waterfall. This includes both the waterfall and the gorgeous flora that surrounds it. For those of you nature lovers out there, this is pure bliss. The waterfall is tucked away amid the Khasi highlands’ evergreen forest. This waterfall will undoubtedly astound you in this cloud-covered town. It will unmistakably resemble water drops falling from the sky.
Then we go on to MAWSMAI CAVE, which is a breath-taking maze of caves in Meghalaya’s East Khasi Hills. When the dazzling lights meet the limestone to create numerous hues and patterns of light, the well-lit caves are a sight to behold.
Visit DAINTHLEN WATERFALL after Mawsmai Cave. Dainthlen is a roaring waterfall that cuts through the hard rocks and the high plateau of Sohra before cascading down into lush woodlands, and it is one of the most powerful vistas you will see. For the Khasi tribe, it is also a culturally significant location.
Then we go to the Seven Sister Waterfalls, which are a series of dramatic waterfalls that cascade over limestone cliffs in a gorgeous environment. Then we go to Cherrapunjee’s Eco Park.
From here, we travel to Shillong, the state capital of Meghalaya. Check into the hotel and unwind. Take in the scenery of the highland station.

After breakfast, proceed to Mawlynnong Village – Mawlynnong has established a reputation for being one of Asia’s cleanest villages, although the moniker “God’s Own Garden” is more accurate. On the border of Meghalaya’s southern mountains, the Khasis’ fruit orchards, gushing streams, evergreen surroundings, swinging palms, and well-preserved traditions give a picture-perfect setting.
The Nohwet Living Root Bridge, arguably Meghalaya’s most iconic landmark, is located here. The Ficus Elastica tree roots were woven around a structure to form the bridge, which took years to complete. The bridge is used to traverse the peaceful and serene waters of the river that flows beneath it, and when viewed from a far, the entire construction creates a captivating display.
Also, pay a visit to the Tree House and Sky View Point, where you may get a panoramic view of the Bangladesh lowlands. The Skywalk is an 85-foot bamboo-pole-and-jute-and-bamboo-rope-and-jute-and-bamboo-rope-and-jute-and-bamboo-rope-and-jute-and-bamboo-rope-and-jute-and-bamboo-rope Balancing rock – an ancient structure consisting of a giant boulder dangerously balanced over a much smaller rock – was built without the use of metal.
We’ll then travel to Dawki, a small village in the Jaintia Hills known for the river Umngot, which is a must-see for everyone visiting Meghalaya. Sandwiched between India and Bangladesh, it is also known for its tourism, with many visitors flocking to the city to take a boat trip on the city’s famous Umngot River and take in the sights and sounds. Dawki is worth a visit because of the surrounding greenery, the chilly water of the river, and the gorgeous suspension bridge over the River Umngot.
